• The technology is a capacitor based system that is installed directly into the Electric Circuit Panel.
• Capacitors have been used to store electricity for almost as long as mankind has used electricity. This technology is used by the utility companies to store and buffer electricity to its customers. It is used in our electronics and many other devices. Capacitors come in many sizes and configurations.
• A capacitor is what is used to keep the time on your digital clock or the station on your radio programmed.
• Electrical devices operate at 110 volts throughout the USA.
The electrical provider delivers more voltage to guarantee that you will have 110 volts when you need it.
The additional amount of power is called a surge. The utility provider may deliver 120 or even 130 volts. If they don’t you may not have enough power to start these motors (inductive loads).
A “Brown Out” is when the demand of 110 voltage in not met with in a power grid.
Every house, office, school, factory is located somewhere on the “Grid”. When a motor device starts, it takes a surge of electricity.
