A lifelong love of music has certainly opened this Artist up to many powerful influences. Listening to Gospel Legends such as Sam Cooke, Magalia Jackson and James Cleveland has shaped his vocal presentation style a great deal. Although Mark is a "Gospel Artist," another very strong influence to his vocal style has come from the "Love Ballad". Mark seeks to express his love for GOD with the same passions one would find in R & B Love Ballards. This sultry sound can be evidenced in his recordings of "Sweet Jesus," "Worthy," "Well Done" and " You Love Me".

Mark has been blessed to have performed with four local Gospel groups dating back to the mid 1990's. The significance of this statement lies in the fact that those four groups sang three Genres of Gospel Music, ranging from Traditional to Contemporary to Quartet A-cappella. Mark was asked to perform with these groups not only because of his "Vocal Style" and ability, which is quite diverse, but more importantly because of his commitment to spreading the "Message" that "Gospel Music" gives to the listener no matter how it is presented.

Under the Pastorship of Reverend George Holland of Green Grove Baptist Church of Berlin, New Jersey, Mark has certainly grown Spiritually and Musically. Over the past nine years, his desire to pass on "The Message" of GOD's Love to the masses has increased tremendously. In fact, his entire Ministry is based on three certain indisputable facts about GOD's Love.

1) God has Loved you in the past!
2) God Loves you NOW!
3) God will always Love you!

This message has gone out not only through his first CD, "Keep the Faith" (produced by John Ingram of Camden, New Jersey), but also through all of his Concerts, Performances, Studio Sessions and Appearances.
